Hello there 💜 I'm Emma, a veterinary nurse of 10 years who took a step back from my career to start a family. This chapter let me reconnect with parts of myself I'd lost touch with, while making sense of who I had become as a mother.
It deepened my understanding of our connection with each other, ourselves, and the world around us.I trained as a Reiki practitioner in 2026 after experiencing its profound effects throughtout my life. I also learned to read Tarot after a lifetime of fascination with astrology, symbolism and the stories the cards can help to uncover.From here I created Heartwood Vale, a destination for those who:

Reiki is a Japanese energy practice that uses ki - the life force or energy that flows through all living things. It is traditionally channelled through the practitioners hands and allowed to flow to areas of the body where energy has become unbalanced or blocked.
Think of me as a watering can, offering the energy and letting your body receive it in whatever way feels right for you.
You don't need to force anything or try to get anything right. Just settle in and allow yourself to rest.Who can receive Reiki?
Reiki is suitable for people of all ages, including babies, children and those who are pregnant, and there are no known contraindications.
People are drawn to Reiki for many different reasons. It may be something you're curious to explore if you're experiencing:💫 Stress, overwhelm or emotional exhaustion

3. Once you've chosen an appointment I will send a payment link
4. Once fee is paid you are booked inSessions are held in your own home, I will bring everything I need. All you have to do is pick a quiet room in which you will be able to fully relax.If booking for a companion animal:
1. Fill out the Animal Reiki booking form above
2. Available appointments will be emailed to you
3. Once you've chosen an appointment I will send a payment link
4. Once fee is paid you are booked inThese sessions are led by the animal, we go at their pace and their comfort is the top priority always. They are generally shorter than human sessions as animals are extremely receptive to reiki energy.I also offer the option to receive distance reiki if you are outside my travel zones or have an animal that would be more comfortable with this.Reiki pricing:Human Reiki
